Kalau ditanya di mana tempat makan paling menarik di Bali, Ubud dan Kerobokan adalah dua lokasi yang paling menarik untuk selera saya. Selain memang banyak resto bermutu, banyak pula restauran yang baru buka di dua dearah tersebut.

Kalau di daerah Kerobokan, terutama sepanjang jalan Peti Tenget, restauran-restaurannya untuk kelas menengah ke atas, dengan harga makanan di atas rata-rata resto Surabaya.

Sedangkan Ubud berbeda lagi, walaupun makanan dan ambiancenya menengah ke atas, tapi harganya relatif terjangkau, antara sama atau lebih murah dibandingkan dengan resto sekelas di Surabaya.
Hal ini menjadikan Ubud menjadi salah satu persinggahan wajib untuk saya tiap kali ke Bali.

If you ask me where is the best place for culinary expedition, I'd point to Ubud and Kerobokan as the two area you should go. There's a lot of new restaurants opening on those area, and most of them are nice.

In Kerobokan area, the restaurant are mostly upper middle class which price is also quite steep, a bit more expensive than the Surabaya counterpart.

On the other hand, Ubud have an equally high quality place, priced well bellow the Kerobokan or even Surabaya standards.

Hence this place has always been on the top of my to go list when I visit Bali.
