For the sushi and seafood lovers, Tsukiji (築地) Market is their mecca. Sushi and Sashimi made out the freshest fish would guarantee it's superior tastes and texture. That's why loads of famous Sushi restaurant, from Japan to US, usually sources their fish right out of this famous market.

Apart from selling fish and other raw seafood products, a lot of eatery also open shops around Tsukiji market. Though some are place on the street, therefore a bit uncomfortable in comparison to regular restaurants around malls and such. Though street side and spartan, the prices here are similar to regular restaurant, I suspect that people flock here for the freshness of ingredients used and the taste.

Tsukiji Market - A Very Large Oyster (700 yen)

This Oyster is priced at 700 Yen, which equates to about Rp 70.000
It's quite steep, but worth the cost for me, since in Surabaya I never saw an oyster this big.
For a comparison you can visit this page, review of a restaurant that sells oyster sashimi, at Rp 9.000 per piece.
