Out of The Blue bistro adalah salah satu resto terbaru yang ada di Spazio Terrace. 
Kali ini tempat makan kekinian ini mengadakan acara foodies gathering yang cukup ramai, dan kita bisa mencicipi sambil memfoto banyak makanan andalan mereka. Berikut ulasannya

Out of The Blue bistro is one of the latest addition to Spazio Terrace.
This hip eatery had a foodies gathering event last month which were quite packed. We got a chance to try their signature dishes whilst taking plenty of photos.

Tempat makannya didesain chic, minimalis dan warna pastel yang menarik. Instagramers dan food blogger tidak bakal kesulitan untuk mencari angle foto dan background yang menarik untuk foto OOTD dan foto makanan di sini.

The dining area is designed with a chic, minimalist and pastel coloured theme. This would make instagramers and food bloggers happy, since finding a spot for ootd shots or food photo quite easy.

Untuk pembuka kita mencoba sup dan saladnya.
Rasa hidangan pembukanya cukup menarik, walau tidak terlau beda dengan tempat serupa. Yang lebih unik adalah hidangan utamanya yang memang banyak kreasi fusion yang menarik.

For starter we had the soups and salads here. 
It tasted okay, but it's not really memorable for me. The highlight of this feast were the mains, which were fusion recipes with many delightful twist.

Out Of The Blue Bistro Surabaya - Beef Yakiniku (Rp 85.000,+)
 Yang suka foto makanan, hidangan satu ini bisa dibilang yang paling instagenic dibanding yang lain. Ada telur setengah matang yang sepertinya dimasak poached egg (seperti di menu egg benedict)
Entah kalau rasanya bagaimana karena tidak sempat mencicipi sendiri menu satu ini ^^

For visitor aching to get good food photo, this might be the most instagenic menu of the place. There's a poached egg on top of this Beef Yakiniku Pasta which makes it ever so sweet.
We didn't get to try it though, so there's nothing I can write about the taste.


Out Of The Blue Bistro Surabaya - The Cod Father (Rp 90.000,+)

Menu andalan pertama yang disajikan ke kita adalah ikan cod ini. Rasanya enak dan ringan, tidak terlalu berbumbu, seperti selera masakan barat.

One of their signature menu is this cod fish dish. It's refreshing, though very mildly seasoned. 
Those with a inclination of strong tasting food would be better tasting the other dishes.

Out Of The Blue Bistro Surabaya - Cracking Bird (Rp 75.000,+)

Salah satu menu andalan berikutnya menurut host kita adalah ayam ini.
Rasanya cukup unik, ada kremesannya di atas, masalah rasa juga ok. Hidangan ini seperti menu western, grilled chicken, digabung dengan ayam goreng suharti :D


Their next signature menu is this Cracking Bird, which is actually a chicken thigh dish.
This is quite a unique dish, which taste quite nice. It a mixture of tastes from western grilled chicken recipe, combined with Surabaya's famous fried chicken, Ayam Goreng Suharti, which also have a crumbly seasonings on top.


Out Of The Blue Bistro Surabaya - Classic Chop Beef Melt (Rp 107.500,+)
Menu satu ini porsinya cukup lumayan, tapi kalau dari segi rasa termasuk biasa saja, apalagi mengingat harganya. 

This hot dog menu is portioned quite generously, but it didn't really suit my tastebud. I'd rather recommend you try other more interesting dishes here.



Out Of The Blue Bistro Surabaya - Piggy Burito Wrap (Rp 70.000,+)
Menunya condong otentik, jadi yang selera Suroboyo belum tentu bakal merasa makanan di sini pas bumbunya. Yang tipe demikian lebih baik mencoba makanan dengan asian influence di sini. Kalau saya dan pasangan makan kebetulan memiliki favorit yang berbeda-beda. Burito dicampur kimchi ini terlalu asam untuk dia, tapi untuk saya yang doyan rasa-rasa tersebut malah cocok. 

Their menu is on adhering to the their original western taste-bud, so those with a preference of strong flavored dish would be best to try their fusion dish with asian flare.
This dish is a good example of dish with a strong asian influence, rather than going mild like the other dish, this burito got a surprise kick of a kimchi taste. I like it, but my dining partner weren't so delighted by it.

Seperti yang saya tulis di atas, tempatnya cukup menarik untuk yang hobi foto. Bisa mencari lokasi di corner ini yang cahayanya cukup terang, walaupun saat itu hujan rintik-rintik.
Kaki meja di sini juga unik, memakai model mesin jahit untuk menambah kesan vintage.

Like I wrote above, this place is quite interesting for photo taking.
You can find a lovely spot like this one in the corner, where's there plenty of sunlight despite the rainy day. 
The foot of the table is quite interesting too, using vintage sewing machine instead.
