Jardin de Jade - My First Time at a Michelin Star restaurant HK

https://guide.michelin.com/en/hong-kong-region/hong-kong/restaurant/jardin-de-jade-wan-chai

This time we get to see, how's a genuine Michelin Star restaurant in Hong Kong goes.
I've tried similar Michelin Starred restaurant in Singapore before, but it's quite a different experience.
The one I had in Singapore is called Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken (HKSSC) which is located in Singapore's Chinatown.
It's starkly different, mainly in the type of restaurant, Singapore HKSSC is an affordable dining experience, with a diner vibe and atmosphere.
For price reference, a soya chicken in hawker centers goes for S$ 3-4, whilst the Michelin starred ones are S$5-8.

Chicken with Ginger Soaked in Spring Onion Oil (HKD 88)

Jardin de Jade is a very different kind of establishment.
The menu are priced a few times more expensive, for example the above chicken dish, is three times more expensive than the Soya Chicken set in Singapore's HKSSC.
With that in mind, this place would be more suitable to get a genuine Michelin Starred dining experience.

So we had a very interesting dishes to try. It's not that different from your typical Chinese Restaurant in Hong Kong. Basically it's a milder version, catered to international taste.
For me it's lacking some bold tasting spices that I usually savor from Cantonese Dishes, or generally other Chinese Cuisine, but it does still tastes great.

Lucky for me, I got relatives and friends in Hong Kong that were kind enough to take me along for an exquisite dinners.

Other times when I'm solo travelling, I enjoy the local street food experience much more.
This slab of grilled pork below were very tasty yet affordable
Costing around 60-70 HKD or around Rp 100.000,-
