Fish and Co, sebuah franchise restauran yang cukup populer dan unik, kalau biasanya resto internasional menjual antara daging sapi atau ayam sebagai hidangan utamanya, resto satu ini menyajikan ikan dan hidangan laut untuk menarik pengunjung.
Fish & Co is a franchise that's quite unique in Surabaya, which differ from the usual fare of chicken and beef, they put seafood and fish as their main dishes, with the fish selections is more of the internationally popular kind of fish, rather than the locally popular choices.

Fish & Co mulai buka di tahun 1998 saat krisis ekonomi di Asia, dimiliki Ricky Chew dan Lamber Yeo. Mereka didorong oleh hasrat untuk menyediakan pengalaman makan unik yang berkesan.
Melihat adanya pasar untuk resto seafood dan ikan kelas menengah dengan pilihan dan tempat berstandar internasional, pendiri fish & co menyediakan makanan laut dengan harga yang bersaing dengan pelayanan dan kualitas yang baik dalam situasi yang santai dan menghibur.

Fish & Co. began its operations in 1998 amidst the Asian regional economic crisis and was owned by two partners - Ricky Chew and Lambert Yeo. Driven by a passion to provide a unique dining experience, made memorable by outstanding service and customer care; the founders began conjuring the Fish & Co. dream.
Recognizing a niche for a mid-level fish and seafood restaurant with an international and contemporary flair and selection, the founders started piecing together the crux of what we see today as Fish & Co. - good-value seafood coupled with excellent service and outstanding quality in a relaxed and entertaining environment. With this mission in mind, Fish & Co. was born.

Saya berkunjung ke Fish & Co TP ini dua kali, pertama untuk merayakan pesta ulang tahun seorang teman, dan yang kedua untuk mencoba promo lunch savingnya.

Di Fish and Co disediakan tiga pilihan saus, saus sambal yang biasa ditemui di sambal botolan, saus salsa dan tartar. Saus tartar nya yang paling cocok untuk hidangan breaded / bertepung, yang menjadi ciri khas Fish & Co.
Fish & Co serves three choice of sauce, a bottled chilli kind, salsa chilli and a tartar sauce. The Mayo tartar sauce is the most suitable for the breaded fish and seafood, which is their signature dishes.
Untuk pembelian menu makanan utama, terdapat paket dengan minuman dan sup dengan menambah Rp 35.000. Pilihan soupnya biasanya ada dua, kalau tidak salah selain sup krim ini adalah clear soup. Sedangkan pilihan minumannya adalah Kola Tonic, Markisa, Ice Tea, Ice Lemon Tea dan Blackcurrant. Untuk pilihan minum ini, ada penawaran free refill yang cukup menarik.

For a purhcase of their main menu, there's a packaged deal with only adding Rp 35.000, you'll get additional soup and drinks. The choices of soups are this cream soup pictured above or a clear soup.
And for the drinks, it comes with a free refills offer, with a choice of Kola Tonic, Markisa, Ice Tea, Ice Lemon Tea and Blackcurrant.

Saat mencoba lunch promonya, saya memesan kombinasi ayam panggang dan ikan, Chicken & Arctic Fish, sedangkan teman saya memesan Baked King Prawn Ebiko. Saat pesan, dikabari bahwa mereka kehabisan King Prawn, dan untuk gantinya ditawarkan untuk mendapatkan lobster kecil, langsung saja yang pesan meng-iya-kan dan mendadak sumringah ^^
For the lunch promo, we tried the Chicken & Arctic Fish and the Baked King Prawn Ebiko. This time they were out of king prawn, which turns out to be a good news for this girl. As a replacement for prawn, she gets a small lobster ^^

This pizza was what I ordered on my friend birthday party, this was one, if not the only, vegetarian dish.
Unfortunately it wasn't good, they use some kind of puff pastry for dough replacement, and the toppings and sauce are skimpy. I don't recommend this filo pizza for the true pizza lover.
