My Kopi O -Spicy Tina with US Potato Munch Skin

Salah satu jujugan makan siang yang cukup ok di kota Surabaya adalah di Sutos (Surabaya Town Square). Promo dan ketentuannya beragam, biasanya pada hari kerja mulai pk 12.00 - 15.00, sebagian besar resto di Sutos menawarkan program lunch saving, beberapa item di menu didiskon dengan kisaran 30-50%. Kali ini saya mencoba ke My Kopi O yang ada di lantai dasar


Surabaya Town Square or also known as Sutos is a good place to have lunch in Surabaya. The offers varies from each restaurants, but usually it's at weekday from 12.00 to 15.00. Usually they have special menu which are discounted from 30-50% off. On this occasion I had lunch on the Kopi O on the ground level.

Black Pepper Chicken Chop - Rp 39.800

Walau judulnya kopi O yang seharusnya nuansa kafe, tempat makan satu ini menawarkan banyak menu makanan berat, beberapa menu lunch saving yang kita coba di sini lumayan, tidak ada yang kacau.
Berhubung makan siang dan ada lunch saving, harganya jadi lumayan terjangkau untuk ukuran mall.


Though the name Kopi-O imply this place is a cafe, the portions of the dishes are generous. Some of the lunch saving menu we tried were quite good, nothing particularly off-taste.
Since we got a promotion for lunch, the price were quite affordable for mall standards.

Chicken Wonton Mushroom Noodle - Rp 28.800

Masalah rasa, di sini lumayan enak, tapi berhubung temanya kafe tentunya tidak sampe maknyoes ala resto-resto tenar. Overall masalah rasa tetap lumayan, cukup nambah saus sambal dan merica /garam untuk mengolah rasa supaya lebih pas dengan selera.


The food here taste quite nice, though don't expect much since it's cafe, still a far cry from the typical popular restaurant in Surabaya. It's still decent though, can be fixed with a splash of chilli sauce and other condiments.

Tuna Spicy with US Potato Munch Skin (Rp 39.800)

Sempat mencoba juga satu menu yang tidak lunch saving, Tuna Spicy Potato Skin, untuk harganya yang Rp 39.800. Rasanya lumayan, tapi sama sekali tidak terasa spicy, ukuran porsinya cukup kecil untuk kisaran harganya. Di harga sama bisa mendapatkan Chicken Chop yang ukuran porsinya amat besar.
Untuk yang ngincer value, lebih baik memilih lunch saving menu.


I tried one of the menu not on lunch saving promotion, Tuna Spicy Potato Skin, it doesn't taste spicy at all, but still quite nice tasting. The portion is on the small side though, it's quite pricey compared to the lunch saving menu, where for the same price you'd get a very large Chicken Chop.
For the value diner, you'd be better of sticking with the lunch saving menu.
