I like eating Soto but seldom tries the dish outside my office area in Ambengan Plasa, since the street vendor here makes a killer Soto, which makes me contempt not trying other versions.
Luckily for me, this time a group of friends invited me to try this Soto Praban, it's quite close to my office area too, in the corner of Gemblongan and Praban street.

There's a unique selection of koya, a type of crumble which thicken the broth and add flavors.
There's a regular koya and onion koya which you can choose here.
|Soto Ayam (Soto Praban) - Rp 10.000|
Apart from the Soto, there's also another dish which is fish based, Pempek. Too bad I didn't get the chance to take photo of it.
As usual, food is a matter of taste, some friends like the Soto, while other said it taste just so-so. The price is quite reasonable though, just costs Rp 10.000, which is only Rp 2.000 difference from my usual street vendor Soto in office.
