XO Suki, salah satu
tempat makan suki yang paling populer di Surabaya. Biasanya resto ini
menyajikan makanan dengan konsep resto, kali ini ada yang berbeda dengan cara
penyajiannya. Quick Service ini menyajikan nuansa makan yang berbeda, mirip
dengan gerai fast food.
XO Suki is one of the
most popular Thai Suki proprietor in Surabaya. In case you're not familiar with
what's a thai Suki, it's similar to Chinese Hot Pot or Japanese Shabu Shabu
which cooks meat and varieties of ingredients in a big pot of broth.
While XO Suki usually
have a restaurant vibe, this Quick Service outlet serves food with fast food
joint flair.

Kesempatan siang ini
kita diundang oleh XO Suki untuk mencoba gerai barunya. Sekilas desain
tempatnya lebih terbuka dan bernuansa modern.
We were invited for
lunch here by the restaurant management. This is one of their first quick
service venue in Surabaya. Their design are a bit different from the usual XO
Suki, it's more modern, yet kept simple.

Sama dengan di XO
Suki, kita bisa langsung memilih makanan yang diinginkan di display
pendinginnya. Bedanya adalah setelah antri dan memilih makanan yang diinginkan,
kita bisa langsung menuju kasir untuk melakukan pembayaran.
Model sajian ala fast food begini mungkin untuk mempercepat
layanan, sekaligus memudahkan untuk yang makan beramai-ramai / hangout, tidak
perlu bingung dengan splitting
bill
Similar to regular XO Suki, you can choose the dishes you'd like to try on their refrigerator display. The difference is, once you've queued and choose the food, you can directly go to cashier for payment and ordering beverages.
This is done too speed
up service and minimize workforce, as well as being suitable for people going
on a group and hanging out. You needn't split the bills after dining, just get
what you like and pay them individually.

Pilihan minuman khas
di sini berkisar Rp 20-30rb tergantung pilihan yang diinginkan. Yang tersedia
berupa blended drinks (float & shakes) dan soda ala Italia.

choice for the beverage and it's priced at Rp 20-30k. There are blended drinks,
float and shakes, and also Italian soda on offer.

Untuk soft drinknya,
harganya mulai dari Rp 9.000 untuk mineral water. Pilihan jus ada beragam dan
harganya mulai Rp 20.000.
Satu menu minuman favorit saya yang tidak ada di sini adalah Chinese Tea-nya, di sini karena konsepnya lebih modern tampaknya minuman ini tidak disertakan.

For the soft drink,
it starts from Rp 9.000 for a bottle of mineral water. Plenty of juices option
and it starts from Rp 20.000. One thing that I miss is the Chinese Tea that I usually order in XO Suki. Being a modern eatery I guess they choose to forgo that beverage option.

Pilihan kaldunya sama
dengan di XO Suki, favorit saya adalah Tom Yamnya. Bisa juga pilihan satu panci
dengan dua jenis kaldu, tapi karena saat itu datang ber 4, jadinya satu kaldu
di satu tempat.
There's the same
choice for broth like their sister chain restaurant. Our favorite is their tom
yam and that's what we have in this photo. You can have both clear chicken
broth and tom yam together in a pot if you'd like.
