We got
invited to a great halloween party in the city center, Mercure Hotel (Trimurti
Resto).
See, in our
city halloween is seldom a festive time, whilst we've been invited to halloween
party multiple times, it's quite rare to see a venue going all out on the decor
& themes, be it on the dining plate or other areas
Di depan kita disambut dengan dekor
yang lucu-lucu, lampunya juga temaram, cocok dengan nuansa halloween. Dari sana
kita bisa masuk, lalu pandangan pertama meja buffet adalah bagian dessertnya
yang tematik
Upon entering the restaurant area, we stumble upon
this cute looking decors, and the lighting is a bit dimmed, great for
Halloween.
After taking mandatory selfie outside, we were greeted
by this beautiful looking desserts on the buffet table.

Ga
nyangka kalau dessertnya di sini bakal secantik ini, karena pengalaman di hotel
setara, biasanya konsentrasi kualitasnya di main course, dessert ala kadar
seadanya. Di sini pastry chefnya kerja super keras, hasilnya benar-benar
kelihatan di kualitas dessertnya.

Bucking the trend of similar hotel, which only
emphasize on main course, Trimurti really go all out on their dessert. Hat of
to the pastry chef, which was working their ass off this Halloween.
The taste matches it's beautiful appearance too.

Saking demennya dengan
dessert di sini, saya yang biasanya anti dessert... atau tepatnya tidak boleh
makan gula karena keto diet, sampai akhirnya habis beberapa slice pie di sini
The dessert were top notch, making me whose on the
keto diet, to just go pig out and eat a few slices of the pies served.
Sama seperti buffet dinner lain, di
sini ada juga main course dan appetizer kok, bukan all dessert buffet. Tapi
malam itu kita para tamu terpesona dengan dessertnya, sampai-sampai saya lupa
foto makanan lainnya. Kudos to Trimurti pastry chef
Don't let the photos misled you, this buffet have main
course and appetizer too. But being mesmerized by the dessert makes me forgot
taking picture of the other dinner courses.
Safe to say that the dessert out shines the other
dishes. Nice place for the sweets lovers.
